STU48 Kai Kokoa 2nd Photobook: Welcome Back, Sun

Set in Thailand, the "Land of Smiles," this much-anticipated work finally captures Kai Kokoro's "present" in its entirety! This photoshoot took place in the vibrant capital city of Bangkok and Phuket, one of Thailand's premier resorts.

As if echoing her roughly year-and-a-half of activities in foreign Malaysia, the story of this photobook begins with authentic scenes of daily life in a Bangkok home. Then, it journeys on a local train, showcasing her frolicking on the beaches and in water parks of Phuket, her eyes sparkling with innocent wonder in colorful theme parks and peculiar upside-down museums, and even her relaxed posture in an Asian-style resort villa, challenging her with a variety of rich scenarios.

Furthermore, this work challenges her to her greatest extent, never before seen in her first photobook or previous photoshoots. Many heart-pounding scenes strongly reveal a new side of her. While still retaining that incredibly radiant smile, a mature expression inadvertently emerges at unexpected moments—this work is filled with charms that only "the current Kai Kokoro" can display.

Time spent playing together innocently. "I always thought we were just childhood friends, but the moment we reunited after a long time, my heart inexplicably raced—."
