Riho Takada began her career as a tokusatsu heroine and has a passionate fanbase. As a legitimate actress, she has participated in numerous TV dramas and films, while also working as a model since her teenage years. Her unchanging ethereal quality and recently showcased resilient temperament have attracted the attention of many women.
A Return After Three Years
Her latest photobook, "Sketch," released after three years, was personally photographed by the maestro of Japanese photography, Hajime Sawatari (85 years old). This work holds special significance at this moment, as Sawatari is renowned for the many world-famous masterpieces he has created in the past.
Filming Background
The shoot took place over two days in Tokyo this summer. The air was filled with heat, yet during the shoot, only their surroundings were filled with quiet, as if time had stopped. Under Sawatari's lens, Takada's expressions and movements were lightly captured, appearing as natural as a sketch. Each photo displays a completely different quality from her previous photobooks, combining simplicity with depth.
A Worldview of Pure Literature
The outfits in "Sketch" are primarily black and white, with simple designs that highlight her elegant charm. White swimwear and lingerie showcase her innocent side, while black attire reveals an unprecedented sensuality. This contrasting charm aptly portrays the changes within her.
Flipping through each page, Takada not only exhibits the demeanor of a mature woman but also reveals a hint of girlish purity under Sawatari's lens.
